Intake manager Sharon Milligan plays an important role for Goodman Acker
in determining whether potential clients have cases.
When a person calls to discuss possible legal remedies for an injury they
have suffered, Milligan brings a wealth of experience that she has developed
over more than 30 years in working with personal injury clients. She is
the firm’s chief front-line information gatherer, asking questions

Callers often are experiencing emotional and physical distress, and Milligan
provides understanding, encouragement and much needed information on navigating
their particular situation.
Milligan received a B.S. degree in legal and business administration from
Madonna University, graduating magna cum laude, and has been working in
the legal field since 1978. Her work over that span of time has focused
solely on personal injury litigation including products liability, motor
vehicle negligence, premises liability, and multi-district litigation.
As a paralegal, she has extensive experience working on complex medical
malpractice cases and assisted in bringing multi-million dollar cases
to successful conclusions.
Because of her many years of experience Milligan can quickly get to the
heart of the matter to begin the process of helping clients move forward.

In addition to her work in the firm, Milligan is also active as a paralegal
member of the Michigan Association for Justice and has been a guest lecturer
at Madonna University.
In her spare time, Milligan values time with her family and being involved
in church activities. She also enjoys yoga, gardening, reading and cooking.
