Gerald H. Acker is a senior partner at Goodman Acker, P.C. Mr. Acker specializes in personal injury litigation, including catastrophic automobile negligence claims, no-fault claims, medical malpractice, premises liability and nursing home negligence. For over twenty years Mr. Acker has successfully negotiated and tried multiple million dollar claims for victims of accidental injuries. As part of his practice, Mr. Acker has been actively involved in the fight in both Michigan and the United States Congress to protect the rights of victims against adverse changes in the law.

Mr. Acker has a B.G.S. from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate degree from Wayne State University’s School of Law. He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1981, to the U.S. District Court in 1982, and to the District of Columbia Bar in 1993. He is a long-standing member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and has served on its executive board since 1985. He is also a long-standing member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Martindale Hubbell has given Mr. Acker an A/V rating, its highest rating for both quality of work and ethics.
