Stanley J. Feldman

Thereafter, he attended law school at The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating with his juris doctorate degree in 1993, and in the top third of his class. While at Cooley he served as Associate and Senior Associate on the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. He also was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. And, after graduation he served as adjunct professor of law at Cooley, teaching Introduction to Law to new students.

Since his admission to the Michigan Bar in 1994, Mr. Feldman’s practice as a trial attorney has been devoted to civil litigation. He began his legal career as a defense attorney doing medical malpractice defense of hospitals, individual health care providers and by providing insurance defense to large corporations, small businesses, and individual insureds. Fed up with the insurance defense industry, which operated to malign the rights of innocent personal injury victims, Mr. Feldman switched sides by joining Goodman Acker, and now champions their cause.

Since joining Goodman Acker, PC, in 1999, Mr. Feldman has exclusively geared his practice to plaintiff personal injury work. His practical experience, having represented plaintiffs and defendants alike, has made him a valuable asset to the firm. He is a Partner with the firm, and a seasoned trial attorney, who has received multiple “six-figure” verdicts for our injured clients since joining the firm, including, but not limited to, recent jury verdicts of $102,000, $116,000, $259,000, $360,000, $400,000, and in excess of $500,000. He has also been instrumental in negotiating many favorable and substantial settlements on behalf of our clients. Mr. Feldman is a sustaining member of the Michigan Trial Lawyer's Association, serving on its Executive Board, and an active member of the State Bar of Michigan. Additionally, he is admitted to practice in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Currently, Mr. Feldman is a Plaintiff Case Evaluator serving on Oakland and Wayne County negligence panels, and, continues to accept like private appointments to independent and binding arbitration panels. Mr. Feldman is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
