Tim Sulolli

Tim Sulolli has learned that success in the courtroom is not necessarily achieved by trying to impress jurors with legalese. Instead, he has found that the best outcomes result when jurors have a clear understanding of the case. “What I try to do is present the case so the jury follows it,” he says. “I don’t use complicated legal terminology; I try to keep the case simple so the jury understands it.” Sulolli has followed that precept since launching his legal career in 1998 and has used it to secure numerous sizeable verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Working with Attorney Tim Sulolli

Throughout his career as a Detroit personal injury attorney, he has focused his practice solely on personal-injury litigation for the following cases:

After receiving an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1995, he attended the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law and got his J.D. in 1998. During law school, he interned in the office of Southfield attorney Geoffrey Fieger and took a job there after graduating. After a year, he moved to another Southfield firm and then in 2004, he came to Goodman Acker P.C., where he has been a partner since 2011 and has recorded a number of successful outcomes for clients.

In 2012, for instance, he settled a motor-vehicle case for $750,000 on behalf of his client and her husband, who were injured when their vehicle was rear ended by a flatbed tow truck. In 2016, he settled a medical malpractice case against a local hospital and received $1,000,000 on behalf of this client.

Dedicated to Pursuing Justice for Injured Clients

Like the other attorneys in the firm, Sulolli believes it’s important for lawyers to be active in professional organizations. He is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and was elected to its executive board in 2011. He is also a member of the Albanian American Bar Association, is active in the Albanian community in the Detroit area, and speaks fluent Albanian. While Sulolli enjoys his professional and community activity, it’s his daily practice that brings him the most satisfaction. “I like helping people who have been injured,” he says.
