Detroit Personal Injury Lawyers Fighting For The Injured

Goodman Acker's Community Law Day Invites Members of the Community to Get Legal Advice From Experts For Free

Goodman Acker P.C. believes strongly in the importance of giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. As part of this belief, we consider it our privilege to host events geared at improving access to the legal system for local residents. We are pleased to announce that on May 14, 2016, our firm will be hosting a Community Law Day in partnership with Detroit’s Second Ebenezer Church.

During this event, attorneys from our firm and other local firms will be available to offer attendees between 15-30 minutes of FREE legal advice on a variety of topics, including personal injury, short and long-term disability plans, car and truck accidents, Social Security claims, probate, divorce/family law, criminal law, workers’ compensation, bankruptcy, and much more. A complimentary lunch catered by Mezza Mediterranean Grille will be provided. There will also be plenty of activities for kids, including a bounce house, balloon twisting, face painting, and carnival games.

"One of the best things about our firm is our desire to give back to the community," says Senior Partner Barry Goodman, who co-founded Goodman Acker in 1993. "Our Community Law Day, now in partnership with our friends at Second Ebenezer Church, allows us to use our skills to help those most in need of legal services."

“Community Law Day is a great opportunity to make available sound legal advice to the people of Detroit in so many areas of need and interest. Second Ebenezer continues to enhance the quality of life by providing these needed services to our community,” says Bishop Edgar Vann.

This event is open to all and there is no cost to attend. No appointment necessary! Goodman Acker P.C. attorneys Barry Goodman, Gerald Acker, and Jordan Acker, as well as Bishop Edgar Vann II from Second Ebenezer Church, are available for advance interviews.
