Goodman Acker, P.C. is thrilled to announce that our Partner and co-founder, Barry Goodman, has been appointed to the Mackinac Island Commission by Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

This is Goodman’s second term on the Commission. He previously served from 2007-2013, and was lauded at the end of his term by Mackinac State Historic Parks Director Phil Porter as “an outstanding commissioner.” (Source: Mackinac Island Town Crier, 5-18-2013).

Goodman’s appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate and his term expires April 12, 2025.
