Goodman Acker, the respected Detroit-area personal injury firm, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special ‘thank you’ ad that pays tribute to the many faces that are helping bring life back to city we call home. Goodman Acker and its creative team at Mindfield debuted the new ad during the NFL Kickoff game on September 5, 2019.One of the featured Detroiters is visual storyteller Olayami Dabls. Sixteen years ago, Dabls transformed a city block to create an amazing art project and teaching space with his MBAD African Bead Museum. His must-see /must-buy collection of beads from around the world attracts visitors from near and far.
Robert Felton is best known as Detroit’s Grill King. An award-winning grill master, Felton does more than just make some of the best ribs in the Midwest. He also uses his welding skills to create barbecue grills of all sizes - for sale or for rental. He’s long been an inspiration in the 7 Mile/I-75 neighborhood he calls home.
Adam Shakoor was another featured story. Shakoor was a former lawyer for Motown who is best known for his service as Deputy Mayor to Coleman Young and his advocacy for Muslim Inmates.
