We are pleased to announce that Goodman Acker P.C. was selected as one of the 2016 Cool Places to Work in Michigan. The annual list of “Cool Places to Work” was created by Crain’s Detroit Business and Best Companies Group.
The survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Michigan, benefiting the state’s economy, its work force and businesses.
Companies must go through a detailed and thorough assessment process. This includes analyzing employer benefits, policies, engagement, and satisfaction. Employees are surveyed and the top companies are selected for inclusion on the list.
Only 75 companies in Michigan were selected, and only three law firms. Those companies who stood out among all other Michigan employers were awarded with the selection.
“We are thrilled to receive this honor. The coolest thing about Goodman Acker are the people we work with. They are dedicated to making sure our clients can trust us to take care of them,” said Senior Partner, Gerald Acker.
Employee morale is important at Goodman Acker P.C. Some of the things the Firm does to boost morale and build team work include:
“Each of our employees meets the core values that we try to live by at Goodman Acker, and because of that, we like to reward them and make sure they know how much we appreciate them. It is an honor to be included in this list and we look forward to an ongoing reputation of being a place people love to work,” said Senior Partner, Barry Goodman.
