Goodman Acker P.C. is proud to have volunteered with Life Remodeled on helping finish renovations at the Durfee Innovation Community Center in Detriot, a community innovation building focused on entrepreneurship, employment, and education.The Durfee Innovation Society exists to create substantial and impactful opportunities for children, families and adults across Detroit, while advancing collaboration among the eight major sectors: arts, business, education, faith-based, government, human services, media and philanthropy.
Our entire staff volunteered, as well as seven members of the American Association for Justice New Lawyers Division. Tasks included lawn mowing, outdoor landscaping, painting, indoor & classroom cleanup, and moving wheel barrows into a storage facility.
In addition, several of our Goodman Acker P.C. attorneys mentored roughly 20 Detroit Central High School students interested in law as a career.
