Goodman Acker P.C. is proud to announce that three of our attorneys have been named to the Michigan Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ list for the year 2020! This is the second consecutive year all three lawyers have been selected by the Super Lawyers® organization for this prestigious honor.Our team members who made it on the Rising Stars℠ list this year are:

About Our Rising Stars℠
Amanda Warner has nearly a decade of legal experience helping injured clients recover physically and financially from accidents in Michigan. She attended Wayne State University Law School where she served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law in Society. When not at work, Warner can be found camping, kayaking, and traveling with her husband.
Ronita Bahri has served as a personal injury lawyer at our firm since 2015. Prior to that, Bahri assisted start-up nonprofit organizations as a legal and policy associate at Michigan Community Resources in Detroit. A graduate of the University of San Francisco, School of Law, she represents clients in her native Aramaic as well as in Arabic and English.
Brad Peri decided he wanted to become an attorney at a very young age; he accomplished his dream in 2009 when he graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law as a member of the Dean's Honor Society. Peri now focuses his practice on personal injury claims as well as on long- and short-term disability disputes.
About Super Lawyers®
Super Lawyers® is a rating service that publishes an annual list both online and in print featuring outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas and all 50 states who have attained a high-degree of recognition and achievement in their respective fields. Candidates must be nominated by a colleague in the legal community. The nominees are then evaluated during a thorough and comprehensive selection process patented by the Super Lawyers® community.

- Educational and employment background
The attorneys who pass the selection process are listed on the Super Lawyers® website and in their periodical publications, exposing them to potential clients and new connections in the legal community. Only 5% of U.S. attorneys are selected each year.
How Rising Stars℠ Are Selected
The annual Super Lawyers® list includes a special category to recognize young lawyers who have managed to garner a reputation after either only practicing law for 10 years or less or while still 40 years of age or younger. The selection process is the same as that one described above. What makes this achievement so remarkable is that only about 2% of attorneys practicing in Michigan and the United States as a whole are selected for the Rising Stars℠ list each year.
