Goodman Acker, P.C. is pleased to announce that paralegal Laurie Kies made the honorees list of “Who’s Who” of professionals in the legal industry. “Who’s Who” honor means that an individual has been identified as a person with an outstanding background and has succeeded in numerous achievements through their profession and in their service to others.

After professional evaluation for the Inner Circle Executives magazine, Mrs. Kies has been honored as a “Who’s Who,” listing her amongst the upper echelon in the industry. Candidates are based on credentials, associations, and other criteria, making them a perfect fit to be honored.

Mrs. Kies has been working in the personal injury field for 28 years. Her current role is working under Barry J. Goodman, Senior Partner at Goodman Acker.

She has been a presenter at several seminars for other professionals in her industry, including a presentation to members of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) on defense medical examinations. In 2015, she was a presenter at the Goodman Acker, P.C. seminar for medical providers, discussing how to process requests for medical expense reimbursement to no-fault providers. She currently has another seminar scheduled for September 15, 2016, presenting on what providers will need to substantiate before they can process reimbursement requests.

Mrs. Kies was also responsible for drafting a medical provider affidavit that has been adopted by the legal community, giving a better understanding to serious impairments.
