
Elise Boike is an associate attorney at Goodman Acker, where she practices personal injury law as part of Partner Ronita Bahri’s team. Compassionate and detail-oriented, Elise is dedicated to helping injured clients navigate the legal process and achieve the justice and recovery they deserve.
Before joining Goodman Acker, Elise served as a Staff Attorney at Lakeshore Legal Aid in Detroit, representing hundreds of low-income households in eviction cases and developing advocacy strategies to protect housing rights. She also practiced at O’Neill, Wallace & Doyle in Saginaw, where she defended clients in personal injury and insurance litigation. This experience gives her valuable insight into how insurance companies operate and how to build strong cases for injured individuals.
Elise earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she received the Jeremy Govekar Scholarship and was active in the Women Law Students’ Association and Prosecution Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and English Literature from the University of Michigan, graduating with University Honors and recognition as a James B. Angell Scholar.
Elise is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and served as Secretary on the board of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Michigan, Great Lakes Bay Region.
