On Sunday, October 9, Attorney Mark Brewer of Goodman Acker, P.C. was awarded the 2016 ‘Wings of Justice’ by the Oakland County Democratic Party at the annual Phil Hart Dinner. Before an attorney is selected to receive such an award, he or she is evaluated by the Justice Caucus Mission. The association is founded on democracy and is dedicated to promoting advanced democracy in the government, within the legal profession, and within the Democratic Party.Justice Caucus Mission explains that progressive democracy recognizes that human endeavor must safeguard the following qualities:
- Economic justice
- Social civil justice
- Integrity
- Fairness
- Civil rights
As a result, the association promotes these values by taking part in the nomination and election of progressive individuals who exercise these qualities in the legal profession and government.
Brewer’s achievement displays his dedication to providing honest, fair, and just legal services inside and outside the office and courtroom. In every case he handles, he is steadfast in his values and represents the top-tier qualities that the Justice Caucus Mission seeks to grow within the legal profession.
