Do I have the right to change lawyers in the middle of my case?
You have the right to change lawyers at any time. Although an attorney may assert a lien on the work they’ve performed so far, your new attorney may be able to work through the details with you—especially if they experienced this type of situation before. It is imperative to remember that if you change lawyers, you owe nothing. This means no money will come out of your pocket.
What do I do if my lawyer is indicted?
