Goodman Acker Partner Mark Brewer recently joined host Alisa Zee on Sunday Edition to discuss Michigan’s election system, voting security, and the ways residents can participate in upcoming elections.

During the conversation, Brewer discussed the role of local election workers in protecting ballots and ensuring votes are counted. He also encouraged voters to seek election information from reliable, official sources, including their local clerk and the Michigan Secretary of State’s website at Michigan.gov/Vote.

The discussion covered Michigan’s voting options, including absentee voting, early voting, and Election Day registration. Brewer also highlighted resources available to voters, such as checking registration status, finding polling locations, reviewing sample ballots, and tracking absentee ballots.

His closing message was a reminder that every vote matters and that voters should take the time to understand their options and make a plan to participate.

Goodman Acker is proud to have Mark Brewer’s experience and perspective represented in conversations about election law and voting rights in Michigan.
