At Goodman Acker P.C., our Detroit personal injury lawyers believe every person has the right to live a comfortable and healthy life. It is heartbreaking to think that many innocent people are stripped of this opportunity and suffer from tragic, terminal illnesses. Our hearts break for the families affected by terminal diagnoses, which is why we believe it is important to acknowledge and offer support to those who are working through such a difficult time.
Sadly, a member of our team, Attorney Bradley Peri, was personally affected by the loss of his mother who was taken by ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease). ALS is a disease that causes the cells in the brain and spinal cord to degenerate. To honor Jean Peri, our team will act as the presenting sponsor of the 1st Annual Jean Peri Memorial Swing for a Cure. All proceeds will benefit ALS of Michigan.
The event will be held on Friday, June 24, from 7:30 AM to 3PM, at the Pine Trace Golf Club at the address located below:
3600 Pine Trace Boulevard
Rochester Hills, MI 48309
We strongly believe that unity helps people heal emotionally, and that is why we would like to extend this invitation to all of our clients and all individuals throughout the Detroit area. Together, we would like to honor the beautiful life of Jean Peri.
For more information about the event, please look at the flyer our firm has provided, or contact a Detroit personal injury attorney from our firm today. We look forward to meeting you at the event and having you by our side as we honor the lives of all affected by ALS and other terminal illnesses.
